CYU

CYU is an human project, in which the enemy is nature, and has thus reclaimed his rightful home. The human is portrayed as demonstrating perseverance to overcome personal limits, with the hope of seeing someone precious come to him back. He is going to surpass his mental and physical abilities. This film is my first short-movie as a director. I really wanted to show the beauty of underwater world from another view angle. I have always wanted to create in my films the universe of the Cousteau commandant, by telling underwater stories through a cinematographic storytelling. The use of a Mexican cenote set as a natural theatre is just that evidence I have been desiring.
